Since 1995, Nu Building Blocks has been dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for children in Los Angeles. Our daycare, preschool, and after school programs were founded to support working parents and help families thrive. We are committed to meeting the needs of today’s families by offering reliable childcare, early childhood education, and after school enrichment in a warm, supportive setting.

At Nu Building Blocks, our mission is to enrich the lives of children through high-quality infant care, preschool, and after school programs. We deliver developmentally appropriate practices and positive guidance to help children grow, learn, and succeed. Serving children from infancy through age thirteen, we are committed to creating a caring, loving environment where every child receives quality care and early learning. The Nu Building Blocks Philosophy
Nu Building Blocks Infant Center and Preschool is guided by the belief that children develop best at their own pace through hands-on experiences. Our educational approach is rooted in Piagetian principles, emphasizing active exploration and freedom of choice in a richly equipped learning environment. Preschoolers and school-age children benefit from developmentally appropriate, teacher-led activities and engaging after school programs, while our infant care program is inspired by the Resources for Infant Educarer (RIE) approach, which supports and respects every child’s unique growth and development. At Nu Building Blocks, we believe it takes a village, you and your child become part of our family.
